About Us

Kendama Klub was founded in 2013 in Madison, WI. After playing kendama for years, we realized that we would like to have our own input in the kendama community. We researched what features make up a great kendama by asking longtime players as well as noting our own preferences. After months of trial and error, we arrived at a kendama that we feel embodies what kendama means as a whole. We play on all of our kendamas and stand behind our products one hundred percent. Our kendamas conform to all kinds of play while maintaining a conventional feel that is familiar to all players. Take a step back and think about what a kendama actually is. It's simple. It's a couple pieces of wood connected with a piece of string. But for something so simple, it represents countless larger ideas; Creativity, expression, determination, hard work, laughter, and frustration to name a few. This list goes on and on. You're going to try, and you're going to fail. The beauty lies in the successes that result from failure after failure.
